They weren’t even hacked. Just got in as a mod and changed the back ground.

Oh but we need big computer words for when someone uses their cat's name as their mod password on reddit and someone guesses it. Can't call it guessing or stealing, it's gotta be HACKING because that sounds cool and mysterious to retards.

I think the proper term is Cracking. A hack is a non-commercial program. People advising you what to type into Notepad, save it as a .exe, then run it in order to stop Cortana or something, that's a hack. See: Life-hacks, cooking hacks. It's a process not being sold commerically, often a computer process but not always. Breaking into things, that's cracking.
