Try church.
I don't subscribe to any religion... I am a spiritual person though, just was never raised on religion. I'll take that into consideration though, the more I think about everything that's going on, I am feeling compelled to turn to God. Thank you Pede!
Yeah, you've already been red-pilled politically. Now you can take the ultimate red-pill - for God. If you're seriously interested, you can start by stating this simple little prayer (or something like it in your own words) "God, I don't know if you exist. I never believed in you, but if you are real, I want to know. Please reveal yourself to me." Just be sincere. No mocking, just you humbling yourself and asking for truth.
And then when He answers, and He will - find a bible believing church. (Sounds redundant, but a lot of churches have been infiltrated - gay pastors, etc.) You may even be surprised to find one in NYC. When you get into a good church or even bible study on your own, you will see how much of what was mentioned in the bible 2000+ years ago is happening in our world, today. If nothing else, there are tons of churches that post their services / sermons on line. Good luck, pede. It would be awesome if you find a sane conservative friend in NYC, but it would be even more awesome if you find God. :D
I really appreciate this reply very much! Thank you for the kind advice. I will try it out. <3
:o) Glad to hear that. And feel free to dm me any time. I'm not always here, but I'm here a lot, lol.
I'm not religious either, but I realized a few years ago that all the people I looked up to were. So if I ever wanted to make more friends, I'd try church first.
