Words are ammo and memes are WMDs. Red pill the normies, register people to vote, and speak up! I have already persuaded 3 friends to vote Trump and Republican and I'm working on getting more people on this train. We have not exhausted every non-violent option yet. Keep your guns hot, ready, and holstered for now.

We don’t know that it’s stolen, only that it’s missing. It’s quite possible that another resident needed the radio more then you did. Think of it as an unplanned donation. You did good today. I’m proud of you.

95
CisSiberianOrchestra 95 points ago +99 / -4

It's a deferral. You have to pay the money back. Think of it as a 0% interest loan.

Don't go crazy spending it on luxuries and then find yourself broke at tax time.

57
TrumpVictorious 57 points ago +59 / -2

You are right, but it will create tremendous pressure on Congress to forgive in any further Coronavirus package. Also republicans can run on the “elect republicans if you want the taxes forgiven” platform.

It’s a win.

3
AlphaNathan 3 points ago +3 / -0

Will it be? Does this automatically affect my withholdings?

5
Thingthing22 5 points ago +5 / -0

It legal and technically does but if the employer has set up or written your salary contract in a way where it's essentially invisible (mine did) they get the benefit, not me. Now, public pressure is a bitch and might motivate them to change. Which is good.

9
CornPopvotesTrump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Yeah I totally believe this is the endgame. Trump has been wanting payroll tax cuts forever and this will be his DACA.

6
humble_kekistani 6 points ago +6 / -0

I do think the past week of events is unprecedented. But if it took years for Obamacare to be ruled unconstitutional, wtf let’s see how far we can push executive orders

7
Amaroq64 7 points ago +7 / -0

In before Trump actually achieves elimination of payroll taxes, through congress and everything, passing it into law, and then John Roberts rules tax reduction unconstitutional with some twisted logic.

1
WowStrongWinning 1 point ago +1 / -0

What is the endgame though? How would social security and Medicare get funded? Boomers are a huge voting base, they won’t be happy seeing their retirement income going away.

3
senor_mackle [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

This. There's a 2-pronged (or if you will, 2-hollowed fang) attack to this. Defer payroll tax through end of year, pass forgiveness in the next measure.

18
Ben45 18 points ago +20 / -2

You can set up automatic savings probably most bank accounts to direct a % of a deposit into your savings. I have 15% of any deposit over 100$ going into my savings account, so just a good general life tip, do something like that and save anyway.

7
WhitePowerRanger 7 points ago +13 / -6

Invest. Savings accounts are for chumps.

7
Ben45 7 points ago +7 / -0

when I make enough money for it to be worth investing, sure

1
WhitePowerRanger 1 point ago +6 / -5

1$ is worth investing. I accidentally left 80 cents in a GoPro stock. Up to 25$ now

4
Ben45 4 points ago +4 / -0

haha nice, I have a robinhood account I could use more or put more money into a retirement fund, but at my young age I'm mostly concerned with creating a fund of money to be able to fall back on if need be, hence savings.

2
WhitePowerRanger 2 points ago +6 / -4

investment accounts are very liquid. you’re operating on fear, and at your age, you should be taking risks. there are even ways to invest safely. look up mutual funds, if you want instant access to your cash, make sure it isn't an IRA or retirement fund. read more. if you have a dollar in savings, you might as well put it in a shredder that shreds however fast inflation is rising.

2
Ben45 2 points ago +2 / -0

if you have a dollar in savings, you might as well put it in a shredder that shreds however fast inflation is rising.

haha I trust you know more than me. I'll have a look into it and see what minimums for investment accounts and mutual funds are. But if you have any recommendations for companies to go with I'll look into them too.

Fun fact about how the Democrats subversively ruin gun culture by sparking panic buys:

When this happened in 2008, a guy I knew had a very successful gun shop. When the buying went crazy, he made bank. Lots of money. But as it drew out, he found himself unable to get any product because all of the big boi stores were getting all the inventory. He went out of business...during a record sales period.

All the Dems have to do is spark panic buying like this I until all the small shops get obliterated, then they convince the big boi cuck sporting goods stores to stop selling guns entirely, and combined with a couple laws that make gun manufacturing cost prohibitive and ammo cost prohibitive, suddenly... Boom, no more gun stores! Dems actually like panic buying like this because it leads to ruination of small businesses and provides "opportunity".

I think they meant to do this in 2008 but the political will was low and it wasn't going to happen. They probably want to try again with Biden.

26
The_New_Pope 26 points ago +26 / -0

Nice observation.

Repeat this process over all small businesses during this covid panic, big biz triumphs then supports Democrats while conservative operators suffer. It's a huge power grab.

16
Modus_Pwninz 16 points ago +16 / -0

After covid I don't know how anyone can't see the game plan.

They want power to ruin lives at will. That is what they want. They are currently proving they have it, even when they're not in POTUS position.

4
Dialectic 4 points ago +4 / -0

Helps when half the country can’t even stand up to unenforceable mask laws

3
AgarthaForever 3 points ago +3 / -0

Leftists want small businesses to die because: "Small businesses pay lower wages, provide worse benefits, are often exempt from important worker protections, and are incompatible with the way unionization works in the US."

LtColVindmansVagina 6 points ago +6 / -0

Well if it's a pattern it can be planned for and exploited. If you had 50,000 rds of 9mm and. 223, AR's, and Glock 19s right now you'd be killing it selling them at a high markup. The 50,000 rds are only about 10k worth of inventory when bought a few years ago and now it's worth 30-40k. AR's and 9mm are going for about 1.5 to 2x what they were last year so combine that with the ammo increases and you could easily turn 30k worth of inventory into almost 100k.

It sucks what happened to your friend but lessons learned and improve for the next time.

Federal payroll tax suspension for the rest of the year as per the proposed Trump directive. So yes 8% of your monthly salary straight in your pocket for the Trump term if it goes through.

Congress can pass laws for taxation... but can they enforce them :)

2
BoughtByBloomberg2 2 points ago +3 / -1

Well that depends. Are you going to let Trump not be president next year?

PS: Yes the Democrats could pass a law that just repeals all tax cuts issued by Trump and retroactively collect those taxes.... but they'd be better off just shooting themselves if they are going to impose like 10-20k of taxes ON TOP of the other taxes in the same year on the average family.

Why would you listen to a law saying you can't bring ammo from out of state? Go to a gun store, get some ammo, the only risk is being caught on the way back home but if you're in Cali, just say you paid cash and threw out the receipt (do that anyway). Once you have it nobody will know and will never find out really.

7
SDhiker 7 points ago +7 / -0

We definitely don’t have cans of food, cases of water, and multiple mobile solar panels with a battery. And there’s no way that I just bought a quality fixed blade survival knife. And I’m definitely not looking forward to practicing with firearms again. Nope. Don’t mind me, I’m just a helpless Californian who’s totally voting for Biden. 😗🎶🎵😂

Payroll taxes are paid by your employer. This will not affect anyone's paycheck. Personally I don't like the idea of deferred but I suppose it's better than nothing. It would be better if all taxes were lowered or even better, eliminate the unconstitutional income tax.

Wha? “A payroll tax cut would reduce the amount taken out of workers' paychecks to fund federal programs including Social Security and Medicare.”

Payroll taxes generally mean the part paid by your employer (unemployment and other taxes paid by the employer). You do NOT want them to not take out your SS as that would affect your retirement.

My bad. seems this is word salad. payroll taxes have always meant the employer's obligations (payroll). What we pay are income taxes plus SS and Medicare. So it seems the tax holiday is a deferment of SS and Medicare that would later be forgiven if/when Trump is re-elected.

This, in combination with the end of the extra unemployment cash is incentive to go back to work. Masterful.

Damn Trump must have watched the video of the incredulity of that young man receiving his first paycheck with uncle sam's cut on it
