Serious question, we can't even go to see my wife's grandmother much less drive her to vote. She is a long time republican. I guess I will need to make sure she gets an absentee ballot?

Don't worry; they will have the ability to vote via mail! Sadly, when the entrenched liberal civil service workers at the post office and polling stations identify zip codes from predominantly republican geographical regions, these votes may or may not end up in the garbage.

You can hand deliver absentee ballots if you aren’t too far. When I used to vote absentee, I’d hand deliver my ballot and both my parent’s ballots.

That is a valid reason for absentee voting. Or put more polls up, one near the nursing home, if that is where she is. But don't let someone go to a nursing home and collect all the ballots.
