I can't get past his eyes. They look lifeless. Even under studio lights there is no vibrancy or ever a little twinkle at all just always very dark.
It is sad to me, regardless if I agree with him politically or not. His situation is sad, and on a human level, I feel bad for him.

Every time I bring this up to people, I get nothing. I mean it in the most sincere way yet people are afraid to talk about it. It is fucked up. To give credit to Obama for the second time in my life, Obama didn't think Biden should run and I think this is why. (The first time is when Obama included extending the age of healthcare benefits from parents to 26 years old.)
Just as I would with my three immediate family members with dementia, I will make light of his gaffs because I'd hope one would do such if I were the one with dementia. I would NEVER force my Aunt, Grandmother, or Uncle into working a job that brings public scrutiny in order to gain a political advantage. It is all so fucked up to me and I sincerely feel bad for today's Joe Biden.
