At this point, I’m almost of the mind that we’ve lived in peace for too long. Despite the endless Middle East wars, the vast majority of our population has never known war, and rich fuckhead celebs and athletes think they’re qualified to decide social policy, gun restrictions, and who gets to say what without appreciating the people who died to preserve our rights. Maybe we need some hard times so people understand the price of the liberty they so want to monopolize for themselves.
