We haven't left Afghanistan though. At least not yet. 14 Months of peace on the side of the Taliban would then begin the process of withdrawing. However currently we are still there.
What are we doing there right now? It is highly probable the US is engaging in asymmetrical weather warfare on China via chem trail cloud seeding to cause massive unprecedented rainfall to attempt to break the 3 gorges dam as a response to the attempts at destabilization by China on global/US economy.

Breaking the Three Gorges dam when it is full would be so devastating to China that I don't think they would functionally recover for a generation or two.
