Oops, we arrested the DA but accidentally dropped her off at a Portland Peaceful Protest. Luckily, we dressed her in a "Support the Police" T-shirt, MAGA hat and tattooed her with "It's okay to be white" so she'll probably be safe from harm.
I was wondering about the DA still being in office - but, it seems the governor’s investigation was through a different org, one not directly under this corrupt DA?
Glad to see him call out the cops for being wrong, knowing it’s wrong, and doing it anyway.
Cops are being exposed as caring about serving themselves a lot more than serving the public and doing the right thing. From mask police to sidewalk chalk police to letting senior woman defend them herself. What an eye opener.
Cops seized weapons. If those weapons are returned, this is not the end of the world. Dirty DA tried to frame weapon owner, cops refused to play ball. That is LANDMARK HUGE!!
Which is why I say it's ridiculous that the case should even come to that point. The distinction between public and private property is irrelevant, as soon as intimidation is involved there are NO legal protections.
And we need to sell that fact to our local Chief of Police and County Sheriff. Since 5/26 everyone has reason to fear for their life, or severe bodily injury. Cops need to realize they either stop this or it's a blood bath. A crowd of 20, 40' away and you are in an indefensible position. Orqanize 30 shooters guarding the one entrance to your neighborhood, all determined to open fire at 100 yards and with bayonet affixed, you are in an indefensible position. Either way you face a fate worse than death. Which means we need to devise and practice FAR more brutal tactics than that.
Police need to direct the horde AWAY from neighborhoods where the houses are that close to the road.
"Bare minimum that's expected." I don't know where you grew up that you can expect cops NOT to frame people when the DA says to?
Pretty silly that this case comes to whether the gun she had worked or not. Pretty silly that the distinction between private vs public property even matters. There is only ONE reason for this type of demonstration, and that is intimidation. Which has NO legal protection!
Anybody not afraid of death or serious bodily injury since 5/26 hasn't been paying attention. A crowd of 20, 40' away, 2 shooters aren't going to do anything but get overrun. It's an indefensible position. Likewise with 30 shooters lined up, determined to open fire at 100 yards. With bayonets attached. With a single entrance into the neighborhood. Every defensive advantage, if that's a crowd of 500 you're in an indefensible position. You'll meet a fate worse than death in either scenario.
Police need to respect this and redirect the crowds away from the bloodbath. We need to coordinate with them, telling them straight up what we have in store is FAR more brutal than that, because we need to be. Deterrence is the best use of force.
Can't wait for this DA to go to jail along with all those criminals they released from prison.

Not the first time this DA has framed someone. Last time it was the governor.
Say what?
And they are still in office?
No she forced our elected Governor to resign. His replacement is a half ass swap monster.
Nope. The blues won this battle.

The hairdresser was bribed and there is no evidence of blackmail.
Information and infuriating.

And that money came from the Republican establishment.
He dumped the money in because without a ground game she would have lost the primary.

Overall those are good cops. They deserve credit.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and Gardner have never gotten along.
I hope the cops don't cave to injustice like this!
Interesting strategy, have your wife go out with a prop. Smart, stupid, brave?
I personally believe it was disabled after the riot, but that is for the prosecutor to prove.

In this city, that's every neighborhood.

That's great as long as it works. You're describing a crowd that isn't dangerous. They keep proving to be dangerous.
People here are worried about playing by the rules. We simply can't do that. If we play, we play for keeps.
DOJ better start with clearing their own in house corruption. - First drain their own swamp! (just say'n)... Then work outwards.
So much corruption from unqualified, diversity hires. Top to bottom. Please purge these phonies.
Okay. Do Kim Foxx next.
And don't stop there.

SnekPlissken? I thought you was dead?
