“If it can happen to me, it can literally happen to anyone,” Saleen said. "If this wasn't happening in real-time, you would think that it was actually a Hollywood movie."

Everyone's piling on this guy but it may also be true that the offer from the Chinese partner and the reality of a leading edge factory built from scratch was simply NOT OFFERED by any (FUCKING) United States investors.

I'm witnessing the same type of problem with Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor technology ... which could and should be a game-changing technology the United States uses for itself and offers to the world. And how this diligent inventor Kirk Sorensen and others have gone on for almost two decades of practically no (FUCKING) Wall Street backing.

I used to just roll my eyes when I saw obscene corporate valuations like Facebook. Now at the idiot-triggered twilight of nuclear energy I'm becoming sympathetic with the Occupy Wall St morons. "Burn it all (FUCKING) down" does not sound so outlandish any more.

Where is the smart money?

not in china. A third of their projects fail, tons of businesses are nonviable and only kept afloat because they provide jobs. Also the nuclear industry said nuke plant melt d9wns were once in a 1000 year incident....we are averaging one every decade. Also what nuke business does is build a plant, dont upkeep, then tell the government they need public funds for repairs.

Nobody backs Saleen cause hes a shady performance shop owner, who already sold his name business, and whos super cars are little more than high end kit cars on supercharged 302s.....he doesnt get backing because he sucks....this is the case for a lot of people who go to china to start businesses....theyve burnt bridges here.
