My Barbasol just broke and I wasn't impressed with them.

Should I just go safety razor? I've never used one.

I also need to shave my bald head.

Dollar shave club is BLM friendly, so I switched to Harry's.

Truth. I like the Sandalwood or Eton College (two flavors of Taylor of Old Bond).

Just get a good solid handle like the Merkur 34c, and a year's supply of double-edge blades for 20-30 bucks.

Safety Razor + Barbasol foam is my go to.

Can still cut yourself with a safety razor, dont use too much pressure or go side to side obviously. Be careful when swapping blades, easy when you use the counter as a brace (dont brace with your hand and cut yourself).

I've been a fan of Harry's for many years.

They had a page lecturing me on what masculinity was. I dropped em.

Merkur safety razor, Personna blades, cup, brush, soap and a bottle of Captain's Choice Bay Rum. No "club", cost you about $50 total and last you for a year.
