They use welfare (aka your taxes) to give to people to make them dependent, thereby legally buying votes. When they crash the economy there will be more people in need of handouts. They will get more zombies addicted to their handouts (which is only enough to keep you just happy and fat enough) to get millions of more votes, creating a super majority that can never be challenged.

Repubs: Big oil, blue collar laborers, first responders, military and defense, aerospace, Christianity.
