They won’t, there just going to say it’s not enough. They’re gonna double down on republicans since they could pass the house but republicans wouldn’t pass the senate. I think they wanted this, although I doubt they saw Trump going $400 and zero on tax’s and SL interest. I don’t agree with the $400 not current payroll tax, but I understand it’s need for re-election.

My issue is the payroll tax is a deferment (it will still be payed) and it’s only for salaries under 100k. Their is also serious issue that our federal budget doesn’t have the funds to support it.

Mine too. I was happy when I heard the general announcement, but, unless I'm interpreting it wrong, it sounds like people are just going to get screwed on the back end. "Here's some more money now...but you're going to get a lot less starting next year." In that case, I'd rather opt-out of it and just keep things as is. I get the idea it will be like the tolls to pay for bridges: The bridge was paid off 20 years ago, but the tolls have gone up 500% since then and we're going to continue to pay higher tolls in perpetuity.
