I do agree that many (most) things should be privately funded, and I don’t think public schools should be providing food, psychological and medical services, etc. But that is the system in place, for now, and I guess what I’m saying is that I would rather have my taxes stay local for those services and work to change things from there. I vote in every election, and some millage rates I vote yes, some I vote no. There’s a lot of room for reform, without shredding the safety net. Just my opinion.
