Portland sergeant tells about two particularly bad nights standing against rioters. Start at 9:30 for the shorter telling. Dealing with rioters should be done with much greater show of force, instead of using the least amount to just barely hold back the rioters. Police should not be seen as expendable.

you throw a rock at me, I'm going to pick it up and throw it back. I will hit you with it, harder than you tried to hit me with it, by quite a bit. Shortly after that I will be all over you until you decide never to do that again. With great urgency. This is but one reason I will never be a cop.
This Sgt ends by saying he thinks we'll get through this by more people who are supportive of Police speaking up. I disagree. This is past the point that talking does any good. We do not have a reasonable enemy. They have no intention of being reasonable, and only understand one thing. Not enough jail space? Ok, not a problem.
its there own fault.
Gotta say, I feel badly for them for this kind of garbage but not when they violate the Constitution and arrest people not wearing masks. They need to pick a side, they’re either pro-Constitution or they’re authoritarian lackeys.
throw molotov cocktails or IED’s back at them. plain and simple.
Retire early you lazy fuck. “But muh 20 years.”
Fuck these assholes.
This dick would ticket you for not wearing a mask even if you were alone in a sunny park.
