Is it just me, or did the Catholic Church shift to the left after Pope Francis blew white smoke?

A couple of points on this.

  1. Catholic schools are not the Church. Most of the "catholic" schools have the same problem that secular schools have because they hire the same people.

  2. The Catholic Church still rejects gay marriage and homosexuality, unlike many other denominations because Catholic doctrine CAN NOT BE CHANGED. It still rejects divorce, unlike many other denominations. It still holds all of the truths that it has always held.
