For some of us those threats are very close to being null and void and depending on how the next few months go if something does spark off, it's all bets are off if law and order ceases to exist with Election Fraud and the possibility for an illegal Pelosi Presidency.
I'm with you 100%, the threats are extremely close to not existing. The dividing line has to be where we are already WROL (without rule of law) we can't go fix, but we MUST contain the violence there and not let it steamroll over the rest of the Country. This is best accomplished by coordinating with LEOs to be force multipliers. Where you can't do that? LEOs are the enemy of both sides, and already irrelevant.
As an academic point of interest, Stalin's purges didn't really put him at a disadvantage. Every military had done something similar in the same time period including the US, just nobody else was as brutal about it as USSR. A closer look at those details doesn't give us any strategic advantages now though; at least none that I can see. What's really informative to our situation is Russia 1917-1918, as it got turned into the USSR. And there would be no US to save our ass later.
