The fact his girlfriend got photographed by a paparazzi kissing another guy in public might have had something to do with it. Also, the fact that the same girlfriend turned out to have exploited an underage kid in the past. Especially after he had been so publicly supportive of her me too campaigning and had apparently given her money to buy the victim's silence, which now implicated him in the scandal.
The shame and humiliation may have pushed him over the edge. He was, after all, a continually cucked man (his own bio talks about all the women who cheated on him), older and starting to decline, seemed a closeted bisexual or gay (may not have come to terms with his orientation). A drug addict, who may or may not have stayed sober.
And worst of all, the horror of being on CNN.
I think there may have been lots of reasons he actually killed himself. I personally know one man who did it for a lot less than this.
Not saying I know what happened to him, I don't, but a couple things.
When you're that famous and well off (and handsome) you can get a new girlfriend easy. And if he was gay, coming out would have won him some big hero prizes in leftist culture.
You are not wrong, but I think what really humiliated him was that he had just given his gf hundreds of thousands of dollars so she could keep her young accuser quiet, all the while publicly proclaiming his undying love for her in public, only to have her not only cheat on him but do it in public and in front of a paparazzi so that the whole world knew about his humiliation. I realize that objectively his fame and wealth could have gotten a bunch of better replacements, but a lot of times when people are pushed over the edge by a sudden blow like this, they are just not thinking clearly. My neighbor's twenty year old son hung himself because his gf dumped him. He had his whole life ahead of him, and lots of time to find a new woman that wanted to be with him. It's not logical, most of the time.
As for being gay, I can only say that my gaydar went off everytime he talked. He had the look and mannerism of a closeted gay. Of course if he had come out it probably wouldnt have hurt his career, but some people just can't accept themselves. Add the emotional turmoil of his humiliation and I think that his suicide is plausible, unlike for example, Epstein.
