Every sheriff's office in my state instituted a covid protocol so you need to schedule an appointment to come in and renew your concealed carry license. They're all booked up into early 2021. I've effectively lost my right in a "shall issue" state to carry concealed because of covid.

I agree. Just under 100 years ago you could order a fully automatic Thompson sub machine gun from the Sears catalog. At that time the same second amendment we enjoy today was still in effect. That is, "shall not be infringed," as the honorable and late Justice Scalia recognized in DC v Heller, realizes a right not granted by the US government, but acknowledged as naturally endowed in all Americans. Yes, every gun control law is unconstitutional.
