Every sheriff's office in my state instituted a covid protocol so you need to schedule an appointment to come in and renew your concealed carry license. They're all booked up into early 2021. I've effectively lost my right in a "shall issue" state to carry concealed because of covid.

I'd like to think so but truth is they've instituted a new protocol because of covid. Before you could just drop in to renew. Now you have to make an appointment and they only take them ever half hour during business hours so way more limited.
