There’s 300 teachers in a county here that have successfully gotten exemptions to not return to work because of Covid, INCLUDING NOT HAVING TO INSTRUCT ONLINE WEB CLASSES. So, they are getting paid and funding their pensions for doing nothing. There is literally zero accountability or rules left. I’m extremely pissed off that we have to continue paying our property taxes while these teachers sit on their ass at home.

Totally, hate to admit this but my sis is staunchly opposed to going back to work. She's also very "high risk" as they say. Brother in law is a little more realistic about it. He's thinking about the future and realizing they might become non essential. Also I would like to add; you're a super nice guy. Anywhere else on the internet this would have devolved into an argument and likely gotten shitty. Thank you for being a gent.
Right on; thanks. I try not to be an asshole because it doesn’t accomplish anything. In the right circumstances I like to bust balls, but I try to do it in a way that the person knows I’m joking and they’re into it as well. Cheers!
