I feel like the media only bases stuff of of Social Media and Twitter. The majority of asshats on twitter probably don't even vote and are from different countries a lot of the time. Of course they see less Trump supporters on social media because we are shadowbanned and censored and threatened for our views.
Never been polled in my life and been a registered voter for 9 years. Same with most my family.

I was called for a survey and the person refused to say what organization hired them. I don’t want to be on a list to be targeted. I learned the hard way after I answered questions on a state election. I started getting robocalls that were more fear mongering my positions in order to convert me.
I've never even been called. And even if I was, and wasn't reeling from the absolute shock of realizing the polling actually takes place, I'd probably give them CNN talking points anyway. Let them think they're ahead.
I think I was called because I was a registered independent. A persuadable. I only switched to Republican in order to vote for trump in the primary.

In a strange breach of their general policy toward ordering the public not to dabble in "pattern recognition" (case in point: crime/murder rate committed by joggers + jogger-on-jogger murder frequency, etc etc) they are doubling down on "trust us, we have the statistics, there are no Silent Trump Supporters, there is no incoming Monster Vote, we have always been at war with Eastasia, etc etc."

I actually got polled yesterday. I wasn't shy about it to the faceless questioner. But I have absolutelynnothing political on my social media, let alone a yard sign or bumber sticker.
The polls skew Biden because of the over sampling of democrat voters, not because Republicans are afraid to say they support President Trump in a poll.
The Silent Majority are all of us who can't afford to paint over some asshole keying my car because of a Trump sticker, don't want to be 'pushed back on' by crazy violent leftists for publicly supporting President Trump.

🙋♀️Shy Trumper here! CNN, take your fake news and shove it! If I were to admit to being a Trump supporter, it would greatly effect my job, since I’m surrounded by lefty liberals. It was bad enough just saying my child would be attending in-person school. And they wonder why we’re silent.
Literally my entire family and friend base is Shy trump voters. We will celebrate in Maga style amongst each other but very very very few people outside know our political leanings. I just started wearing a trump shirt around and have not received hate yet mostly nods and thumbs up. The silent majority is very very real
