I’ve been trying to tell people since the beginning that it’s going to take years for any significant part of the swamp to be dismantled. I was predicting shortly before the election (he’s a businessman but also a showman), or well into the second term. Timing is essential, as is waiting until you have an ironclad case that the swamp doesn’t predict so they can mount a defense/counter-offense. No need for blue balls if you’re not expecting some silver bullet to take down an enemy that had metastasized throughout the country. This is going to be a nasty longhaul

Like when inspectors are corupt. You'd have to do something besides letting them tell on themselves. One of those things is a "honeypot" where something enticing would be used to get them to do something.
