Yes- but life is not learned from a book or scoring high on a test. That does not make you a good teacher. You Started life in academia and never left it' sheltered halls. Sad.
What life skills can you teach your students? - other than passing exams?
A lot of teachers or tutors had entire lives outside the intellectual bubble prior or live normal real world lives daily like everyone else around them.

I'm sure there are a few good teachers out there but IMO the vast majority are exactly as I described them. In your heart, you must know the public education system is rotten to the core as currently implemented.
