Good news is you can also flat tax sales from source (Boeing makes a sale they pay a tax directly to the government) but need to have NO EXCEPTIONS. When some one buys American they pay your tax and it goes to the government. Yes, cost to the consumer for items would go up but with lower taxes the return is more than offset. Advantage is your tax form is a postcard and your actual cost for taxes is dramatically reduced. Keep It Simple.
