Frankly, I like fighting in hockey and I hate the people who keep trying to "phase it out" by saying things like "you hate to see this, it's still a problem we have to work to stamp out in the sport"
that said, I think the current "season salvage" effort is bullshit. There does not NEED to be a 2020 cup winner. just write the season off as a loss, start training camp in late September and begin in October as usual. All you're doing now is permanently pushing back the start of every new season by months, where Hockey season may not start til December going forward now.

And for the BLM kneeling shit, I still hold out hope that the overwhelming majority of players don't care about that shit and secretly hate how political sports are but don't want to come forward and be labeled bigots and racists and whatever for it, and don't want to face fines from the league or whoever for non-participation.
