He was tried and acquitted. Read the article.

I hate Pelosi as much as the next pede, but accused =/= guilty. Sure, he might have gotten acquitted because his mayor-daddy pulled some strings. On the other hand, the girls might have been encouraged to accuse him because people influencing them thought the mayor might pay them off to drop the accusations.

Kavanaugh was not guilty just because he was accused, and neither was Nancy's brother.

I read it. Just because someone is acquitted, doesn't mean they didn't commit the crime. Just like powerful people get away with murder now, they got away with felonies, then.

Kavanaugh was not charged criminally.

It works both ways. Powerful people, and their close relatives, are often targets of accusations because people hope they'll want to avoid the publicity of a trial and will pay off the accusers even though the accusations were false. Fact is, we don't know if Franklin D'Alesandro III raped these young girls. All we know is that he went to trial and was acquitted. And was later elected mayor of Baltimore himself.

I apply the same standards to political allies as to political adversaries. It's called intellectual honesty.
