The cops were moving between trying to arrest him and trying to help him. They get him into the car - he's resisting, and then he begs them to let him lie down on the floor. They do that but pin him down to stop him getting up and being a danger to himself and others.
They had called him an ambulance and it turned up just too late - though what chance they would have had of saving him, I don't really know.

It’s always context. The media shows what they want and tailor the narrative to say or show what is most shocking and destructive.
They prove time and again that they lie for political reasons or profit.
Trump calling them out as fake news has been one of the most refreshing (among many) things about his presidency.
