Reset the public school system and give all parents tax funded school vouchers. If you want to send your child to a local public school - go for it. If you find a better school near your employment, enroll them there.. Parent choose - not bureaucrats.
I agree with you BUT if you get anywhere close to receiving benefits from the government, tax breaks or funding, you risk more regulation. My state has very little regulation and we’d like to keep it that way

Wouldn't it be better if the government just gave you a voucher to school your children? Same money, but you get to pick the school.
