10/10. What browser are you using, by chance? That type of screen is most common on Google Chrome and I'd sincerely hope people posting on this site would know better than to use a Google product.

At our company, we are permitted to use Brave Browser and Internet Explorer. The majority of us use Brave. Our IT guys send out weekly tips on privacy and security which includes how to secure your FB account, manage legitimate plugins, configure your firewall, secure your mobile devices, etc. They made the push to corporate to allow use of Brave browser in the workplace. Corporate approved it within 2 weeks and we had the option to install it on our computers via MS Software center.

A corporation not blindly going for the most popular, mainstream garbage? Shocking. Guess you must deal with actually valuable private info. Either that, or someone in your company is accidentally competent.

Now if only they also refused to use Zoom and Windows. Either way, God bless you and your IT guys, most companies are incapable of even the most basic security.

We are in the security business so it makes sense. We use Windows but we do not use Zoom. Cisco Webex is available for most of us for video conferencing.

I use brave browser. Use alt shift n to open up the private browser using tor. Does the tor browser allow you to get around IT restrictions? It allows me to get around blocked sites

Tor is inaccessible for us. My local IT admin said its disabled for security reasons on our work assets.

I wish those were more commonplace. Breitbart only really focuses on particular regions, America first and foremost of course. There's protests going on right now in Belarus over potential election fraud, Capital's under lockdown, internet is getting cut off and I couldn't find a single mention of any of this on Breitbart. Same for New York Post. So I'm stuck sifting through biased propaganda and trying to piece together the truth from that.

From what I can tell Belarus was never a free country to begin with. Sorry to hear that though.

It's there. Breitbart's search feature is pretty weak. Plus, they're just reposting an AP article and it has no comments. I find that combination usually keeps stories from being highlighted on the front page.

Is anything at all being posted in English? Could you post some of what you find here?

Most sources are not ideal at all but these two should give you some idea of what's going on.

For some context, the current president and announced winner, Lukashenko, has been president since 1994, basically being the only president of Belarus since the fall of the Soviet Union. He's very buddy-buddy with Russia. Not an amicable relationship like Trump and Putin might have, but one of making very controversial statements and decisions that seem to undermine Belarus' independence and aim to integrate it closer into Russia. One of the first things he did was run controversial referendums, one of which was to make Russian an official language of Belarus alongside Belarussian, another referendum being an expansion of his own powers. I won't claim to be an expert on that but that's how a lot of people see the situation.

Exit polls showed that Lukashenko's opponent should have earned around 60% of the vote and the president should have gotten around 15%, but official results state that Lukashenko got nearly 80%. People suspect something shady and are protesting (and rioting in some cases as the accounts show). You'll see the media blame Russia for this soon.
