Governments are just mafias with an air of legitimacy.
They take a cut of all the business that happens on their turf, and they enforce contracts, making complex trade agreements like insurance and stocks possible.
The NAP is a fallacy, there will always be the threat of force. Governments will always have the upper hand militarily. But they are kept in line by making the cost of victory too high.
The NAP is not a fallacy, it's a tautology. It says that all interactions must be voluntary to be ethical. It's always true, it's merely a reflection on ethics, sorry you don't like it or don't understand ethics. Your blackpill attitude that ethical government is not possible is all your own. Sounds like a justification for anarchism and a might-makes-right attitude.
Not anarchism, seeing governments for what they really are.
They aren’t there to keep us safe or protect our rights, any more than the mafia protects the neighborhoods it controls. It does that to keep business going it can take a cut from.
How does a government enforce anything without aggression?
We want them just stopping aggression of others, but the government is run by people just like us. They aren’t angels.
A steered "conservative" movement looks a lot like the Libertarians.
Zing
I don’t understand! We’ve done nothing and things keep going wrong!
No no no, they just want "fair taxes" you guys. Nevermind that taxation violates the fucking NAP.
Thats where the blackpill starts to get absorbed.
