I guy a worked for died from it a few weeks ago. He was 69, severely overweight and had diabetes. He was a great American, a skilled businessman and became wealthy because he was intelligent and hard working. He also spent tons of time on Twitter shit posting for Trump.
I know one old man with terminal cancer who died of “covid” and a family friend in New York who had a massive heart attack and was apparently covid positive in autopsy so they counted it. But no one who died of just covid.
I know someone that 2 hours before she passed, her family was told she had Covid and the doctors wanted to pull the plug. However she was not in the hospital for Covid and had been in the hospital for 4 days before she tested positive.
I don’t want to say The Germ is harmless because it can absolutely fuck up the old and infirm. Herman Cain is precisely the type of person that society needs to protect. Virtually everyone under 50 who isn’t sick or morbidly obese will beat The Germ handily.
We had four total positive cases at work so far (military), spread out over a couple months.
All of them are believed to have contracted it outside of work.
A couple of them came to work for a few days before showing symptoms and getting tested.
One guy had symptoms, but they resembled his regular allergies, so he came to work for a week before getting tested.
Dozens of people had contact with these people and they were all quarantined.
NONE OF THEIR COWORKERS GOT IT!
Absolutely zero new cases occurred from these people who were tested positive and were symptomatic at work in close proximity to others, often without masks.
My former roommate's parents, who were 78 and 73, in good health. They died one day apart early in the pandemic. They were of Chinese ethnicity and lived in Seattle.
We've had some cases at work but everyone has been fine.
No. My mom does treat patients at a hospital in Florida and they've had a few dozen deaths from it. They are virtually all very old and frail, many coming from nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They went months with hardly any Covid patients. Recently got a bump with the wave in Florida but it has already started to go down and at no point has it ever gotten worse than the worst flu season she's seen. She will confirm that it's far more infectious than the flu though. So my theory is this disease is sort of like a hyper flu that will rapidly infect an area, but it's not orders of magnitude more deadly than the ordinary flu.

If being 73 is considered a pre-existing condition, then no.

Forgot to say that she was uninsured.
Nope. It must be a coincidence. Nothing to see here, folks!
Well, there was that young, healthy guy in Florida who crashed his motorcycle and died of COVID.
Herman Cain was the first person I ever heard of who died from it

I've known several people who've had it, but it was no worse than the flu or even allergies. Can we please stop with all this fear. Like seriously...
Yes, quite a few locally. There was a big wreck on the freeway a few weeks ago.
Chief Pathologist of Hamburg, Germany, quite frankly stated after many autopsies, that no-one has died OF Covid-19.
I still don't know anyone that got it at all.
I don’t even know anyone who has or has had COVID-19.
