I would look into tech school. You need to think about the future technology like in aviation and automotive. You got cars and aircraft being built that will be basically computers. Hell passenger jets already fly themselves and most people don't even know that. There will always be a major need for them. I am an aircraft mechanic. Not always an easy task, but the pay is very high for me after 10 years. There are many options for the tech school world. I would look into it while you hangout with your doggo. Also wait til after the election to make a decision. Save your money for now and do some research.

Thank you man!!!!! I hadn’t considered this before, my dad had mentioned Tech School but I never gave it much thought. You make a great sales pitch on doing that, you are very convincing pede! You’re right, the world is moving to an electronic filled transportation system w less and less human requirements. It’s amazing for me to see the self driving cars and in real life that were shown on I-Robot in 2005. Additionally it’s been incredible to see the video chatting I saw on the Jetsons cartoons played on boomerang growing up come to fruition as well. I’m very proud of you for being so dedicated to your profession man, and it’s good to see that you’re doing well financially. I will 100% look further into this field. I appreciate it brother! Have a blessed morning. Godspeed 🙏🏻 spending time w my dog sounds like the plan indeed. Just curious tho- why do you think I should wait until after the election? I love President Trump too, but why would Biden have an impact on college? Bc of student loans? Going to bed now, will reply when I wake up. Thank you so much for the help guys!!!!!!!

Start structuring your life right now, AS IF you were already in college. When the clock rolls around how many hours have you spent just in non-directed exploring or socializing or commenting? You should set aside some actual time in your day, separated into portions (call them classes if you like) where you explore one thing. It cannot just be an interesting thing, it has to be some learning skill that you would have been exposed to IF you were in college. But the rule is, when time's up place a mark and move on to the next item, to resume tomorrow/later. To cover more ground.

How many actual jobs have you thought about over the years that would be interesting to have? It may change over time. Young people imagine themselves in consuming, busy professions. Some older ones like me also consider jobs that are menial but require dexterity and skill, but I don't desire this because I feel lazy of intellect or strive to be dull. I want that because those tend to be the jobs that don't follow you home and allow a strict 24 hour schedule, leaving blocks of free time for other pursuits.

These may be people you have met or heard about. Then generalize, what actual skills must they have presented to be hired for those positions? Pen and paper is crucial. you want to maintain a general outline of careers and topics You want the outline/list to steer your 'classes' providing the next topic when time is up.

Since you are undecided, put equal time to exploring people-careers and basic principles "what you'd be expected to know" of ones that interest you.

Find some magic words you can search for on the web that connect you to free learning materials that can help you fill your outline of Things I'd Like To Learn/Do. Something great happened in the '90s, professors started putting their course syllabus online. The word 'syllabus' is magic. because people don't use it in everyday conversation! Which means you can search for "syllabus factory automation" or "syllabus nutrition" and you'll find a teacher document that has course objectives. Syllabi [silly plural eh?] provide you with TERMS and KEYWORDS for further topic study. And if you find any vocational route and seek out Tech schools, internships or apprenticeships potential employers will be impressed with your self-learning. For the Factory Automation example you will know what thermocouples are. If it's Nutrition you arrive able to describe carbohydrates and fats. Words and concepts are power in your (evolving) fields of interest.

While you're at it... Research what actual careers are out there and what they do day-to-day. My wife has a degree in English, but she uses it in a business development / industry setting (proposals). It's a career field we had never even heard of until her senior year of college. It might help you build your path if you know what the economy / employers actually need and what areas would be most valuable. Taking a look through BLS data and current job postings in your field may be a good start.

I just say wait til after the election because you just never know what they're gonna pull with China and the treasonous gang in Washington working against America. It's a just in case plan. Same reason why I am not starting my own aircraft parts loan biz.

I can’t say enough how thankful I am for everybody on here taking the time to to genuinely help me out with your best efforts. It really does mean a lot to me, as I’ve faced much adversity from others throughout my lifetime. We are SO NICE yet the lamestream media tries to villainize us. 4 more years! I love y’all. Trump 2020!
