I know a private school teacher (Christian school, to boot) who is a raging leftist and a pot head about to turn 50. She has nothing but contempt for religion and her community. So you know, I wouldn’t get too high on the private school idea.

Agreed. I guess my point is trusting that private school won’t get you an ideologue as a teacher is misguided. Even with a based curriculum you don’t know what commentary the teacher is putting on things.
