yeah, they marched down some road, many of them with 'replica' weapons. We spotted some fairly expensive rare foreign weapons in that crowd carried by grossly inept individuals. There's a couple of French FAMAS F1, a couple of German MP-40s, some of the rifles lacked optics or sights of any kind. Many had Slings threaded through the front sight tower and wrapped around the stock. I'd say more than half were props and/or BB and Paint ball guns.
Friends and I spent the better part of a week playing 'Name that Weapon' with all the wild shit they were carrying. The group is dangerous only because they're led by an idiot. They went out in Kentucky and had 4 heat casualties. Many didn't bring water, were dressed in all black and tac vests and masks- glad they didn't hurt any more than they did. Argument between the neighborhood protesters and that group about marching together- they then went parading through the streets 'military' style aiming in on random people and trying to look commando.
All my years in the service (0331) and I've never seen anything as "shit-all-stupid" as that.
