🤡🌎

Nevertheless, if parents refused to participate those events would be empty of spectators and they would cease more quickly. Libraries still have budgets which they have to justify to their bureaucracies and ultimately taxpayers.

Well, you can't have a priest or rabbi come read a story about G-d. Separation of church and state blah blah blah.

I don't have a problem with a priest or rabbi reading kids books as long as they aren't dressing up in their ceremonial garb and teaching the kids about Jesus which has no place in a public library (go to Church for religious education).

The point is the drag queens are purposely dressing up in drag for this library and making it a thing. They don't wear drag at home I guarantee you. The event is even called "drag queen story hour" or whatever. If the library had a "jesus story hour" I'd be equally as concerned.

How about we just have a regular old goddamned "story hour" with no political themes? Have some retired old grandma come in and read to kids. Not some cracked up troll in drag. Smh.

Heh, well. I imagine a Rabbi would like wear a yarmulke and the tefillin, and priests have their collar and stuff as well. But here's the thing: I think their message would be more wholesome than what we get from drag queens.

Woke librarians sold a bill of goods by activists, probably. Maybe even by woke parents trying to out-virtue signal one another.
