Are there any other options besides homeschooling? Don't get me wrong I love the idea..but I work two jobs and my wife works one.. as our kids approach school age the idea of public school with the libtards worries me but we certainly, at least for the next few years, cannot quit our jobs and have one parent homeschool. I was thinking of joining some churches maybe that offer christian school but maybe I could skip most sunday services since I have to work.
You could also look into home school co-ops in your area. I was home schooled growing up, but I had several home-schooled friends who did most of their classes through the co-op. Their parents would teach them one or two subjects at home, while the co-op filled in the rest. I only occasionally did some classes through the co-op, mostly science related stuff that was more difficult for my mom to teach us at home.
Not sure if other states offer it, but here in MN we have open enrollment. You can send your kid to any school district, the tax money follows the kid, but you have to provide transportation, unless you are diverse and from Minneapolis, in which case they will bus them at a cost to the taxpayers.
