We need to group up and help our fellow country-folk in need. If this stuff is happening in your communities I would try to help them clean up or even just let them know that you care and maybe bring them a home-cooked meal while they figure things out. Small acts of kindness make a huge difference. We are the antithesis to the "progressives" destruction. Unfortunately things will probably get worse. We need to win the hearts and minds of those who might be on the fence.
