My theory is that it has something to do with tribal humanity. Gay people theoretically act in a "support" role, hunting and gathering food for the rest of the tribe without the distractions of child rearing.
Nothing about what you're describing turns anyone gay. Trauma can be a factor. Trauma does not happen without abuse. Self reliance is not abusive. 60 years ago 12 year old children were not merely self reliant, but responsible for many other people. We didn't see this huge spike in trans or gay, and the increase had no correlation with this sort of childhood.
There are multimple studies and 3 meta studies that show gay people had been molested at rates ranging from 3x to 22x more that straight people. That is 3 times to 22 times more.
Not all gay people have been molested but many have been.
And most pedophiles are homosexuals if you take into considerarion the ratio of straight gay population

There's a lot of gay "transtrenders" who basically just say "call me a girl" and leave it at that. The ones cutting their dicks off and taking experimental hormones tend to be of a distinct type of mental illness which isn't gay.
Hard to explain, but basically the normal gay people don't broadcast their attractions. Transgender people broadcast it entirely.
Maybe that's what happened when gay marriage was a constant issue, so it appears to be the same people. Either way, they're not gay people, and if they are, then it's the narcissism and attention they want, not the drugs and surgery.
