I listened to commentary about this speech the following week on local radio channels where they chopped it up and took things out of context. I was like bitch, I saw it live, that's not what he said. It was definitely my red pill moment.

Press will decry all of the confederate monuments, and that he chose a battle that didn’t involve any colored troops, but symbolism won’t be lost on anyone. Could be epic. I’d go.
