This + federal ID standards, like RealID. Each document (license) has a unique identifier for that specific ID card. No way to fake this, at least not easily, and definitely not en mass.

There is a source... which basically says that nearly 20,000 fake id's have been confiscated over the past couple years. They know the sender and the packaging... most of the id's are minors with fake birthdates. The bar codes and everything scan fine. Very good fake ID's.
How do we know that fake ID's aren't for college kids trying to drink underage? 20,000 is a huge number and I doubt theres that many buying fakes at the same time, but are we assuming this is all for voting reasons and how do we know that?
(My question doesn't change the fact that if they can be faked for that purpose then they definitely will)
