I wasn't going to give the movie the time of day specifically because of him, but my in laws aren't based and I managed so see the tencent logo pop up before the movie started.
Please elaborate re TenCent - Chinese propaganda? I'm not being disingenuous here (or playing the Intentionally Dense Guy) but would honestly like to know the association. I watched it reluctantly as a family member wanted to see it - also having serious misgivings about Aw Shucks Forrest Gump playing the lead. I thought it was nauseating, frankly. Who or what is Woderman? No snark please, just honestly curious (getting irritated with the "What, are you STUPID?" replies - I try to keep up with the 24/7 news cycle but some things slip through the Research Net).
Tencent is a massive organization in China that's got it's fingers in just about the entire software industry there and is filled with party loyalists.
As for tencent, they bought out shares of Reddit awhile ago. And while Reddit was censoring before that, I honestly feel after buying them out the censorship got worse. They are a chinese company, and I believe it is illegal to work with them now?
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
But the tencent pictures is a company associated with them. It is the first thing mentioned in the wikipedia.
His movie was made by tencent productions. Very sad
And starred .....................a pedophile

Which makes sense it stars him I guess.
Woderman has money from them too
Edit Wonderwoman
