conservatives are nice, supportive people who just want to live their lives freely.
Not just that, they want OTHER people to be able to live their lives freely too. They just don't think YOUR life should be shoved down OTHER people's throats. Or that other people should be forced to tip-toe around you, and not say things you don't like. Guess what? Everybody else has to deal with the occasional asshole saying things they don't like, why should you be protected by unconstitutional laws limiting other people's speech?
Yea the whole censoring people’s speech because it might offend someone bullshit is a pretty slippery slope, to say the least. The left are such hypocrites. “Agree with me and be as accepting as me OR BE SILENCED AND DELETED FROM SOCIETY” it’s fucking scary to be honest
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

Forgive me if I should know this, but who said that? I like it.
