McSally is a horrible candidate. It almost seems like McCain was sabotaging the GOP in Arizona by pushing her along. The fiasco in AL and now in AZ reveals the GOP is incompetent, or again, intentionally sabotaging itself.
Yes I have no idea why they run her twice but voting for that crazy Sinema turned out bad for Arizona. Despite portraying herself as moderate she turned out to be a puppet for the party just like every other Democrat politician
This. She lost to that fruit cake Sinema. McSalad, only got her seat by appointment. That should have been a sign. I thought it was weird because that meant people were voting a split ticket keeping a R governor at the time. McSalad reeked of McCain RINO bullshit.
Now, if she lost to Sinema, she will most definitely lose to Mark Kelly, who was an astronaut (different kind of space case than Sinema). Also, people are/were sympathetic to his wife Gabby Giffords, so he also has that momentum.
I know I am fracturing into tangents here, but long story short, California leaked into Arizona for a while now, and the state is pretty much purple, leaning more blue as time goes on. Unless people pull their heads out of their asses, the ship is sinking in AZ.
Mcsally is a terrible candidate. shes incumbent, if you guys get out and vote in november like your lives depend on it she'll beat kelly. this will be a close race.
Did conservatives on the ground in Arizona see this years ago and start planning by primarying the right people? Or did they sit back and let Mittens' niece offer scraps and say live with it or lose to a Dem?
McCain hated the Tea Party. Maybe he and the RINOs in AZ did start shutting such candidates out ten/fifteen years ago, and so, now, they've got nothing but McCain's RINO stooges to draw from. But, I don't live in AZ. Don't know enough about AZ politics to say.

I wanted McSally primaried, but it is riskier than having a pseudo incumbent running. If illegals were not voting in AZ it would be red by a mile.
C'mon at least Sinema has some fapping potential. lol

AZ turning purple is all the more reason the GOP needs to find exceptional candidates.

AZ following the VA model.
