MY Aerosmith story - the youngest in my family and a 1986 HS grad I was raised on the Good Shit of the 70s - Allmans, Zep, Stones, Johnny Winter, et al - and will always remember my Army basic training buds & I were playing pool on graduation-eve liberty at a local dive in late July '86 and it was the day of the Video Jukebox and on comes this godawful rap shit - and it was Joe Perry & Steven Tyler hopping around with Run-DMC to Walk This Way. At that point I completely gave up on them and none of their output since has changed my mind - what a shame as I LOVED those guys.
Then you remember Walk this Way wasn't even a particularly good song on the album it came out on. I mean it was ok but it got played to death on the radio. Last Child was on their next album. By the time the Run DMC bs came out yes it jump started Aerosmith's career post-sobriety and they were all individually more skilled because of it, but they did little to nothing worthwhile.
It's not that drugs made them better, they just wrote all their good stuff when they were young. Dream On was written when Steven was 17, which is ... scary good.
Here's another gif. I could tolerate Rancid Piglosi better when she was in the MINORITY. She's another fossil that will have to be carried out of DC in a BODY BAG.
Man, I've got a SHITLOAD of them - may have to zip and upload at some point. One I've been looking for forever (and you can only imagine how many ZILLIONS just from Movie #1) are the FIRST Naked Gun movie where Ed picks up Leslie/Drebin from the airport, talking about sex and all the phallic imagery - the two silos that look like tits, the train entering the tunnel (hardee-har). Just making that 2-3-4 second gif sometimes is a mo-fo - editing out from a 90 minute film one TINY blip, converting to gif, etc. Here's some family entertainment for ye.
Love how the camera guy just watches as it comes inbound.
"Dayumn, girl! THAT musta hurt! Well, here's Ron Jeremy with the weather".
I wondered why the ball looked like it was getting bigger, and then it hit me.
Pat Travers
He also did “Last Child” which a live version has always been one of my favorite Aerosmith songs, only recently did I realize Aerosmith covered it.
You have that backwards. Tyler/Perry wrote it. Travers covered it.

Oh, well, thank you. I should’ve looked it up before making a dumb comment, appreciate the correction.
Edit: Tyler/Whitford got the credit, nevertheless you are correct.
Can’t stop watching it!
