No wrongthink is allowed, so people self censor in order to fit in and not get downvoted, because if they post and lose fake internet points it hurts their feefees and then they throw their tendies on the floor and stomp upstairs from the basement and scream at mom for being a capitalist/republican/racist/bitch.
I kinda feel more impressed with myself when I get a ton of downvotes versus a ton of upvotes. I have a whole page of random 1k+ comment and post Karma posts and they all were basically written with the "What type of humor is Reddit going to enjoy" mentality. The real posts that trigger people are the ones where you surpass -100 comment karma.
Reddit has a massive population but all the interesting and provocative content gets banned or the thread gets locked by far left SJW moderator faggots who can't take the slightest bit of disagreement with their ideology.
And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who watermarks memes that I export, and drop win in every post I make on the bottom of a news stories like Breitbart, YT or whatever
The downside is it’s almost impossible to get to the front page. Early on you could post a halfway decent meme and get at least 1000 upvotes. Now you post a really good one and get like 12. Just so much competition. Too much to follow on New.
I don't mind not getting to the front page so much as I do missing out on dozens upon dozens of high-quality memes. I just can't read them all. God help me if I miss a day. This is some good shit.
