There is no doubt in my mind that in addition to massive voter fraud and rioting, there will be tactics by local authorities to ensure Trump supporters cannot vote. They might close polling stations with predominantly Trump supporters. They might send Antifa to burn down such polling stations, or start violence and then arrest anyone defending themselves. Basically a whole lot of bullshit.
The election is too important to take any chances. Just for one day people should not give any identifying signs to make this easy.
More importantly, suck it up and wear a mask, so they dont have another excuse to harrass you guys and stop you from voting.

Overall it's a pretty bad idea to be advertising who you're voting for at the polls during any election... You're just asking for trouble - that said, you SHOULD be able to wear whatever the fuck you want, but it's just not reality. It's most important to go and vote for the right candidate, you should just go do it and get the fuck right out of there
Yeah man, its absolutely horrific that you might not be able to wear whatever the fuck you want. But yeah, priorities.
Also, don't forget what they did in late 1800s elections with KKK. They actually got people afraid to go and vote.
