There is no doubt in my mind that in addition to massive voter fraud and rioting, there will be tactics by local authorities to ensure Trump supporters cannot vote. They might close polling stations with predominantly Trump supporters. They might send Antifa to burn down such polling stations, or start violence and then arrest anyone defending themselves. Basically a whole lot of bullshit.
The election is too important to take any chances. Just for one day people should not give any identifying signs to make this easy.
More importantly, suck it up and wear a mask, so they dont have another excuse to harrass you guys and stop you from voting.

There were posts covering this last election and I'm sure there will be more when we get closer but you've got the right idea op.
Be as boring as possible when you go to vote. Don't draw attention to yourself. Go early. Check that your vote prints out correctly if it's a voting machine. Be on the lookout for miscalibrated touch screens. If it's possible, take the day off and spend the rest of the day getting others to the polls.
