Anybody can get a driver's license regardless of residency status.

It's actually worse than that.

If you have impaired eyesight, or epilepsy, or certain other physical conditions, you can never drive a car, and thus can never have a driver's license.

Yet society falsely connects driving with identity and lets the driver's license function as identification for all kinds of non-car-related things, including voting, and so non-citizens who can drive have an easier time voting (and doing lots of other things in life) than American citizens who can't drive.

That is outrageous, but here we are.

For those who don’t drive you simply get an identification card. It’s similar to a license, but doesn’t grant you access to drive a vehicle.

Would conservatives ever talk about this? I just feel conservatives have a lot of work to do before the Overton window comes back to their direction.

Older generations of conservatives didn’t know observe or counter the changes to society and write policies that would help their voter base and the nation itself. India,Nigeria,China,Mexico use voter ID to vote and it is not a “racist” thing; it is a procedure that protects the integrity of voting.

They they cared about non-citizens voting then they would actually require a proof of citizenship. I mean, damn, you need to provide those documents to work in the US (I-9 form) so most people have them on hand anyway. If you don't it is easy as hell to get the documents within a month anyway. There is really is no excuse for them to not verify citizenship for voter registration.

Last time I voted in MO I tried to offer up my ID and apparently you are no longer required to show it. You tell them your name and they find it on a list then you have to confirm your address. How long until you no longer have to confirm your address? It’s huge BS.

Well the Driver License used to be secure because you could only get it with passport, birth certificate, etc. But you are right, now liberal states just hand them out to anyone...and to make it worse ALL states still recognize other state Driver Licenses. So all you have to do to create "legal" status is go to New York, get a license, then get as many secondary forms/identifications as you can, and before you know it, you will have fabricated your own legal citizenship.
