My mentor in law school did a comprehensive study on oral arguments at the Supreme Court level; the finding was that the number and nature of questions are not useful in predicting the outcome of the case, regardless of the subject matter (highly politicized or more apolitical).

Last time they sound this exact way, but in the end 2/3 judges sided with Flynn. I think it's just part of the gig to sound like a cunt.
