It is funny to hear both the prosecution and the defendant arguing to the judges to dismiss the case, and the judges saying - no we won't do it! Clown world.

Sounds like an authoritarian communist judicial system to me. If they can do this to a high ranking general, how may no name plebs have they setup.

Honestly, what would the judges have them do if they decide the prosecution can't drop a case? "No sorry, you have to because it's an election year and we're now a political body". You literally have the judicial branch interfering with the business of the executive branch.
